The Glen Shopping Centre - Extension and Mezzanine Parking Deck Client: Hyprop investments Value: R 12 Million Duration: August 2006 – February 2007 Project Overview This project consisted of the extension to the existing Edgars and a new Mezzanine parking deck. Profica's Role To act as the client representative and provide project management services from inception to completion. Profica was engaged as the principle agent thus managing and being responsible for all aspects of the project including managing all the stakeholders, design, contract administration, construction, close-out and hand-over. Client Benefits and Value Adds Profica’s experience was used from the very inception of the project to help with the design of the area and provide input into the buildability of the works. Profica's hands on approach and knowledge of the centre ensured the delivery of both the retail and parking components well in time for the December trade. Profica has been the Project Manager at the Glen on an ongoing basis since early 2005.
